Nedbank Cup Champions Look To Continue Where They Left Off Against Chiefs

Kaizer Chiefs v TS Galaxy at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on 18 May 2019

Nedbank Cup champions, TS Galaxy, are looking to continue where they left off against Kaizer Chiefs in last season's final.

After beating Chiefs 1-0 in last season's final in May, which was one of the major upsets in South African football, the GladAfrica Championship side are set to begin their title defence with an away match against Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium tonight (Wednesday).

Chippa, who also had a fairly decent run in last season's Nedbank Cup, lost to Chiefs in the semi-finals, before Amakhosi missed out on a chance to win the trophy.

However, Galaxy are confident of repeating last season's run by going all the way again to the final this season in the prestigious competition.
