Sundowns will be looking to carry on their fine form against Bucs in recent meetings, having won the previous game between the two sides on 10 February 2-1. In fact, they have won four of their last seven encounters against the Sea Robbers, while Pirates have only won two in that timeframe.

In terms of form, however, Eric Tinkler's team outperformed Pitso Mosimane's side, winning five of their last six games, while Sundowns have only four wins in that timeframe. Sundowns are also coming off of the back of a heart-breaking defeat at the hands of AS Vita in the CAF Champions League on Wednesday.

"Tomorrow's game is a very difficult game for both teams," Vilakazi told Soccer Laduma. "Sundowns coming off a loss, Pirates so far are doing well, they've won the last few games so I think it's going to be difficult. Remember, when you winning a game you are feeling on top, you think you will win again. The other team will say to themselves "look, we can't lose again." So I think they going to fight."

Sundowns will have identified Tendai Ndoro as the biggest threat to their defence today, with the Zimbabwean scoring four goals in his two Nedbank Cup appearances and nine in his last eight in all competitions. 'Tso' has also reserved special praise for the Zimbabwean striker .

"Ndoro, I've had faith in him since he played at Aces, he's a very good player," the 33-year-old continued. "He can finish when given the chance. He can convert. And he is currently on song, it's a good thing for Pirates to have a striker like that. It's going to be very interesting, strikers from both teams are doing very well. Looking forward to it.

Pirates, meanwhile, will be keeping an eye on Sundowns' Keagan Dolly, who scored against Highlands Park and Mbombela United to help take his team to this stage of the competition.
