Following Sundowns' 1-0 win over Cape Town All Stars in the Nedbank Cup competition, the Brazilians' assistant coach gave his comment about the player's performance on the night.
"His first half with Zulu, you saw it yourself. If you supported Cape Town All Stars you had goosebumps. (The) first half, with Zulu and Aubrey on the left, we were looking very strong. From time to time they changed positions in very critical moments, Aubrey and Themba Zwane, the opportunity that Themba Zwane got on the left, had it been Aubrey you know what could have happened," Mngqithi told the media.

"But, in football, those things happen because in our defensive structure, when they have to put pressure, the nearest one on the ball, it is natural that they will always find themselves in unfamiliar positions when you regain possession and I believe that is what immediately happened. We know what Aubrey is capable of and we know we brought in a very good player and it is a matter of time before he makes an impact," he added.
