Leonardo Castro Wants Kaizer Chiefs To Start Well Against Baroka

Leonardo Castro

Kaizer Chiefs' Leonardo Castro says that the Amakhosi need to score early against Baroka when they come up against Bakgaga in the Nedbank Cup this weekend.   Read: Chiefs Shot-Stopper Back In Training   Castro scored his first goal for the Glamour Boys during Chiefs' win over Baroka back in January on his debut and has since grabbed two more for the club – against Orlando Pirates and Stellenbosch respectively.    The Nedbank is now Steve Komphela's best opportunity of winning a trophy with Chiefs before his contract expires at the end of June, and Castro is aware of the threat that their opponents pose when they meet at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth.   Speaking to the club's official website, Castro said, "We need to fight if we want to reach the semi-final… We need to be ready from the moment that the referee blows the whistle to kick off the game.    Click here to view the Nedbank Cup fixtures   "We want to score early. Baroka always approach their games with a do-or-die attitude, they have nothing to lose and everything to gain. They can't be underestimated. This means that we must be focused from the start and take care of business with a sound game plan and a determination to win.   "We need to look forward as well. The Nedbank Cup is an opportunity to win a trophy this season."   Chiefs host Bakgaga, a team who has beaten them once this season, in PE at 20h15 on Saturday night.
