Kaizer Chiefs' Steve Komphela Won't Mount Any Medal He Wins

Steve Komphela says that, if Kaizer Chiefs manage to win a trophy this season, he won't be mounting his medal on the wall for all to see.   Read: Serbian Touted As Chiefs' Komphela Replacement   The Amakhosi still have a mathematical – though slim – chance of challenging for the Absa Premiership title, and on Saturday will battle it out with Baroka for a spot in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals.   While Komphela is yet to win a trophy with the Glamour Boys, he remains hopeful that they can finish the season on a high note prior to the expiration of his current contract at Naturena.   Speaking to the media today, he said, "We never give in or give up... I throw those things away myself. You could play in an MTN8, win three matches and put your medal on the wall, and it's a great achievement in terms of perception, but what did you leave?   "For some of us, work is within, not outside.
