Brilliant Khuzwayo Is Believed To Have A Minor Ankle Injury

Brilliant Khuzwayo

Kaizer Chiefs are thought to be waiting to assess the fitness of goalkeeper, Brilliant Khuzwayo, who didn't train last week due to a minor injury.   Read: Chiefs Beaten By Pirates Again   The 28-year-old has only played two matches in all competitions for the Amakhosi this season with Itumeleng Khune having his most consistent campaign since 2013/14 and has been Steve Komphela's regular number two for the Glamour Boys.   It is thought that Khune, who returned from international duty with Bafana Bafana on Sunday, will again be the man to start when Chiefs take on Baroka in the Nedbank Cup quarter-final on Saturday evening, but it appears that Khuzwayo may not even make the bench.    Click here to view the Nedbank Cup fixtures   The Siya crew have been informed that the shot-stopper is battling with an ankle injury at the moment that hindered his training last week, although it remains to be seen if he will be back again today following the players' day off on Monday.   Khuzwayo has been linked with a move away from Chiefs when his contract expires at the end of the current season, and will no doubt be considering a move away given the fact that he's only made eight Absa Premiership appearances over the last three seasons.
