Cape Town City head coach, Benni McCarthy has his eyes set on a second domestic trophy for the 2018/19 season.
City, who lifted the 2018 MTN8 trophy, are now just two games away from being in yet another cup final, this after defeating Highlands Park 3-0 to book their spot in the quarterfinal of the 2019 edition of the Nedbank Cup competition.

Speaking to the media after the game, McCarthy looked ahead at how in his first stint as a head coach and for City, he could lift his second domestic trophy, putting altogether R15 million in the club's pocket.
"There's a cup, it's two more games and then you find yourself in the final, so the short term about it, we suffered the disappointment of last week's loss, but now, you win here and then you've got two more game and then you can get a chance of lifting another cup and putting R7 million in your pocket, so that is R15 million for the year that the players have put in the pocket of the club," McCarthy said.
"So that is something remarkable, I don't know any other coach who started his career like this. Even, if you have the opportunity at the big three or four, none of them. It is remarkable that with the players that I have, we can achieve these goals," he added.
