Mamelodi Sundowns are just a few days away from kickstarting their FIFA Club World Cup campaign and preparations have been going according to plan.
The Tshwane giants landed in the USA on Monday and have been hard at training, while club legends Tiyani Mabunda, Hlompho Kekana and Teko Modise have been doing ambassadorial work, including the launching of the new jerseys by Puma for the competition.
The club visited the Roc-Nation offices on Wednesday, a company they have a partnership with. Sundowns are using this opportunity to not only do well on the pitch at the Club World Cup, but to grow their brand on a world stage.
Their jerseys are on sale at the Puma Flagship store in New York, so locals will get an opportunity to purchase and this could boost the club's visibility beyond the African continent.
In training, the team has been working tirelessly to ensure they deliver and get through to the next round. Sundowns are in Group F with Ulsan, Borussia Dortmund and Fluminense. Their first match will be against Ulsan on Tuesday
