With Zinedine Zidane expected to bring in a few Galactico signings for his squad revamp, as many as 14 players, including Sergio Ramos, Gareth Bale and Isco, could end up on the club's axe list to generate up to €450 million (R7.4 billion).

Spanish football experts Graham Hunter and Gabriele Marcotti assessed Los Blancos' current squad, and gave their verdict on which players Zidane could sell after this season.
They were not afraid to name some of the club's current superstars with the winds of change clearly ringing at the Santiago Bernabeu, saying they were not only looking at performances but also "wages, chemistry and contract length".
As a consequence, Hunter and Marcotti agreed that even captain Sergio Ramos could be sold. The centre-back turns 33 at the end of this month, and his departure could free up some massive wages.
In left-back Marcelo, another one of the club's main pillars over the past few campaigns has come under scrutiny. Again, both Hunter and Marcotti believe it might be time to move the Brazilian star on.

In addition, German midfielder Toni Kroos could be let go. The 29-year-old is still good enough to command a great fee, but has appeared disinterested and error-prone this season. He is the second-highest earner at the club behind Gareth Bale, so his sale would free up more space on the wage bill for new superstars.
Marcotti and Hunter also feel that Real's top earner, Bale, as well as Isco should be sold in order to gain enough cash for the revamp. Both players need a team built around them, but it remains to be seen whether or not Zidane will consider either of them as the main star of the new project.
In addition, players who have been loaned out, such as James Rodriguez and Mateo Kovacic, are also understood to not be in Zidane's plans, and seem unlikely to return to the club.
