Les Bleus had a brilliant World Cup in 1998, beating Brazil in the final 3-0 – the same margin they got over Bafana Bafana in the group stages.
They also won the 2000 European Championship, beating the likes of Spain, Portugal and Italy on their way to the trophy – after claiming the title already in 1984.
