Under the guidance of skipper Lionel Messi, the Blaugarana were hopeful of winning a treble of trophies consisting of the Copa Del Rey, LaLiga and Champions League titles respectively, however their hopes were dashed after suffering a bruising defeat to Jurgen Klopp's side at Anfield on Tuesday night.

The result has left a number of first-team players in the dark regarding their future with the Spanish giants, however, Spanish publication AS has given an indication of which players are poised to exit the club.

Ernesto Valverde's side have already confirmed the signing of Ajax Amsterdam star Frenkie de Jong giants in a staggering deal which could amount to a total of €75 million (R1.2 billion) with €11 million (R176 million) being allocated in add-ons.

The imminent arrival of the highly-rated Dutchman is expected to pave the way for Ivan Rakitic's reported move to Serie A giants Inter Milan.

According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, the Croatia international midfielder, who is believed to have rejected a lucrative contract to join Paris Saint-Germain in the last transfer window, is expected to move to San Siro in a deal worth £43million (R796 million).

Rakitic is not the only midfielder that is set to forms part of the Blaugrana's squad overhaul. Club record signing Coutinho is another player rumoured to be headed for the exit door.

The Brazil international has failed to replicate the form which made him a household name in the Premier League with former team Liverpool since his £142 million (R2.6 billion) move to Camp Nou.

According to a report from ESPN, the 26-year-old will not be at the club for the foreseeable future following a number of below-par performances from the playmaker. The former Inter star has reportedly attracted the attention of Manchester United and PSG respectively.

The future of 2018 World Cup winning superstar Samuel Umtiti has also been cast into doubt following reports of Barcelona reportedly vying for the signature of 2018 Golden Boy winner Matthijs de Ligt.

In addition to having missed the first five months of the 2018/19 campaign due to injury, the centre-back has fallen down the pecking order at the club, largely due to the emergence of countryman Clement Lenglet, who is now preferred as the first-choice alongside Gerard Pique.

With veteran defender Andrea Barzagli set to retire at the end of the current campaign Spanish publication Diario AS reported that Juventus could look to acquire the services of the Frenchman.

Malcom, who became the club's seventh most expensive signing ever after penning a deal worth €41 million (R654 million) in 2018 is another player who faces an uncertain future and is poised to leave the club – to see all the names linked with moves away from and with the club, look through the gallery above!
