Cape Town City are currently assessing the progress of two of their strikers as they gear up to lock horns with SuperSport United this weekend.
City will face Matsatsantsa in Durban at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, October 14 in the final of the 2017 MTN8 competition.

Head Coach Benni McCarthy will want his entire squad fit to face former City coach, Erick Tinkler's side, who will be fired up to clinch their first piece of silverware following the departure of Stuart Baxter at the helm.
An official from the club has since revealed that the City medical team are monitoring the progress of Lehlohonolo Majoro, who had a knock on his knee and Victor Obinna who felt some discomfort in his groin area. However, both strikers are looking to be fully fit for Saturday's encounter.
Head Coach McCarthy has also received a boost in his midfield after the club revealed that Roland Putsche will be available for selection after the player missed out on two of the team's previous Absa Premiership encounter.

Thamsanqa Mkhize picked up a knock while on duty with the South African national team and is yet to be assessed by the City medical team, however, the club is expecting the right back to be fit for the encounter.
City will play the home team at the Moses Mabhida Stadium when they welcome the Tshwane giants in the MTN8 final showdown on Saturday, with the match scheduled to get underway at 19h00.
