Despite being announced as a new signing for Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC, a former Kaizer Chiefs striker is not in the squad for Saturday's MTN8 match against defending champions SuperSport United.
Venezuelan striker Gustavo Paez, along with the former Orlando Pirates duo of Justin Shonga and Augustine Mulenga, as well as ex-Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Mogakolodi Ngele are some of the players who were announced as new signings for TTM on Thursday.
However, the Siya crew has it on good authority that Paez has not yet arrived in Mzansi and won't be in Joel Masutha's team for the cup match at the Thohoyandou Stadium.
Paez is expected to land at the OR Tambo International Airport only on Sunday and could also miss the start of the DStv Premiership season as he is expected to go to quarantine on his arrival before he starts training with the team.
The Siya crew understands that after catching a flight in Colombia on Thursday, the 30-year-old proceeded to Brazil and will be flying to Qatar before landing in Jo'burg on Sunday morning.
