Cape Town City head coach, Benni McCarthy has explained why he withdrew Teko Modise in the second half of the MTN8 final.

The Citizens missed out on the first piece of silverware this season, after they lost 4-2 on penalties to SuperSport United on Saturday evening.
McCarthy reveals they are trying to manage Modise so he can grow stronger as the campaign continues.
"Teko you have to manage him. We don't want to see him end up breaking down again," McCarthy told SuperSport after the game.
"We save him and as the season continues he will grow stronger and better. That's all there was to it, there was nothing [untoward] about it.
