Orbit College 3-0 Milford Stallions

Milford Stallions suffered their first defeat of the season in the Motsepe Foundation Championship after a disappointing 3-0 loss to Orbit College on Saturday.

After a fine start to the campaign, the breaks have now been put on the visitors' campaign but remain in and amongst the earlier pace-setters.

The victory moves the host up the standings and into the top eight all thanks to second half strikes from Lethabo Modimeng, Simphiwe Ndlovu and Michael Khoto.

JDR Stars 3-1 Black Leopards

JDR Stars closed-in to the top-three on the table with a comprehensive 3-1 victory over Black Leopards out at the Giant Stadium in Soshanguve.

The victory stretches the host' unbeaten run with the goals coming from Tshepo Mokhabi, Prince Nxumalo and Banele Hlophe either side of the half.

Lidoda Duvha, whose inconsistent spell in the league continues, got the solitary consolation through none other than Mwape Musonda.

Hungry Lions 0-0 Pretoria Callies

Hungry Lions' winless run extended to three matches following a hard-fought goalless draw against Pretoria Callies out in the Northern Cape province.

The Romans, though, are also in a tussle and been battling for maximum points lately as the result prolongs their plight to six matches without victory.

Venda Football Academy 1-0 Kruger United

Struggling Venda Football Academy got their first win of the season following a 1-0 triumph over the new boys Kruger United in a relegation tussle.

Veteran and well-travelled striker Judas Moseamedi got the winning effort to move the host from the foot of the table and create breathing space amongst the fellow strugglers.
