Black Leopards 0-1 TS Sporting FC

Black Leopards remained winless in the GladAfrica Championship following a 1-0 loss to TS Sporting FC at home on Saturday afternoon.

Leopards have only managed to collect two points from two draws so far, while Dahou Lebahi's earlier strike ensured the visitors victory and third spot in the process.

Platinum City Rovers FC 2-1 Polokwane City

Two first half goals was enough to maintain Platinum City Rovers FC's perfect start with a 2-1 win over Polokwane City in the Limpopo derby.

Rise and Shine looked to follow up the win from their last encounter against Cape Town Spurs, but Tshepo Ntlaba and veteran Thabiso Nkoana ruled out that possibility.

Free State Stars 1-0 Venda Football Academy

Free State Stars registered their first win of the season with a narrow 1-0 victory at home over the Venda Football Academy.

The winner from Ea Lla Koto came late in the second half and it was from the penalty-spot by one-time Premiership top-scorer Moeketsi Sekola.

JDR Stars FC 2-0 Tshakuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC

Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC suffered successive losses after going down 2-0 to second-place JDR Stars at the Giant Stadium.

Following a goalless first half, Ishmael Wadi put the host ahead in the middle of the second period before Malebogo Modise picked up his first goal for the club with the second late on.

Cape Town All Stars 0-0 Pretoria Callies

Pretoria Callies's winless streak continued through a goalless stalemate against Cape Town All Stars out at the Parow Park Stadium.

All Stars, who won for the first time against Sporting in their last match, remain in ninth spot five points from the top whilst Callies languish within the bottom-three quagmire.

Sunday 12 September

Hungry Lions FC 1-1 AmaTuks

A ten-man Hungry Lions FC were unable to claim back-to-back wins after playing to a 1-1 draw against AmaTuks at the Slavio Training Centre on Sunday.

The new boys enjoyed their first-ever victory in the big-time last time out against Pretoria Callies, while Tuks also won their last match against Jomo Cosmos.

Jomo Cosmos 0-0 Cape Town Spurs

Jomo Cosmos remained at the foot of the table following a goalless draw against Cape Town Spurs in a bottom-two contest.

The two sides are but five outfits across the Championship that have yet to register a victory from the opening three rounds.

Uthongathi FC 1-0 Richards Bay FC

Uthongathi FC picked up two wins in succession following a slim 1-0 win over Richards Bay FC in a provincial derby clash.

The Canecutters bagged the winner late in the second half through Katlego Mohamme as the first half spell finished goalless.
