CAF Champions League Starting XI: Simba v Kaizer Chiefs 22 May 2021

Teams: Simba v Kaizer Chiefs

Date: 22 May 2021

Venue: Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium

Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to finish the job against Simba SC in the quarter-final second-leg encounter at Benjamin Mkapa National Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The match will get underway at 15h00 (SA time).

Amakhosi have one foot in the semi-finals after hammering Simba 4-0 a week ago at FNB Stadium, courtesy of a brace by Samir Nurkovic and a goal each from Erick Mathoho and Leonardo Castro.

The Glamour Boys welcomed back shot-stopper Itumeleng Khune in the squad after he missed the first-leg due to suspension.

On the other hand, the Reds of Msimbazi will need to score at least four unanswered goals to force the game to penalties or five unanswered goals to progress to the semi-finals.

The Tanzanian giants reached the quarter-finals for the third time in their history and have never got past this stage.

Didier Gomes' charges are unbeaten at home this season in the CAF Champions League, winning all their group games at home, which could be a motivating factor, as they look to climb their own Mount Kilimanjaro.

Subs: Akpeyi, Mphahlele, Agay, Baccus, Kambole, Katsande, Ngcobo, Mashiane, Sasman
