High-flying Polokwane City play hosts to Bloemfontein Celtic in an Absa Premiership encounter at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium this evening.

Rise and Shine have been in fine form in recent weeks as they head in to the clash unbeaten in their last seven league matches.

While their last encounter ended in a goalless draw with SuperSport United, Polokwane thrashed Black Leopards in their last home encounter.

Jozef Vukusic's troops find themselves in sixth spot at the moment, but a victory could see them rise up to fourth, provided Bidvest Wits lose to Leopards.

Celtic, meanwhile, will be eager to return to winning ways after their encounter with Cape Town City was abandoned due to crowd trouble.

Prior to last weekend's abandoned clash, the Free State outfit had failed to win their last six games, which has left them four point adrift of the top eight. When these faced off in the Free State earlier in the season, Rise and Shine registered a 2-1 victory on the day.
