Mamelodi Sundowns resumed Absa Premiership action with a trip to the Makhulong Stadium to face Highlands Park this evening.

Goalkeeper Denis Onyango also made a surprising return to action and he keeps the spot between the sticks tonight. Sundowns currently occupy third spot, but the highest they can move is second if they win and Orlando Pirates lose to Baroka.

Highlands, meanwhile, come into the match unbeaten in their last six matches, although there last three encounters have ended in draws. The Lions of the North, who drew 0-0 with AmaZulu last weekend, currently occupy ninth spot with 22 points from 17 matches.

These two sides last met on the final day of the 2016/2017 season when they drew 2-2 in Tembisa.
