Teams: Baroka FC v Chippa United
Date: 22 August 2020
Venue: Bidvest Stadium
Baroka FC and Chippa United will both be looking to steer clear of the relegation zone when they do battle in the Absa Premiership this evening.
Baroka restarted their campaign with a heavy 3-0 defeat to Bloemfontein Celtic in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals but they have since avoided defeat in their last two matches in the league.
Dylan Kerr's troops played to a goalless draw with AmaZulu last Saturday before they held Orlando Pirates to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday evening.
Meanwhile, the Chilli Boys are also winless inside the bio-bubble and are yet to score a goal after narrowly losing 1-0 to Cape Town City before playing to a goalless draw with Highlands Park on Tuesday.
Chippa find themselves lying 12th on the log while Bakgaga sit third-from-bottom, just a point above the relegation play-off spot and are left with four matches in their bid to escape the dreaded drop.
When the sides met in their first round outing in the league they played to a goalless draw in December last year in Port Elizabeth.
