Marumo Gallants got the upper hand in their CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round tie after defeating Elgeco Plus 3-1 in the first leg on Sunday afternoon.

Despite leading Gallants to their first win on Tuesday, Dan Malesela was not on the bench for this afternoon's clash as he does not have the necessary coaching licence to coach in CAF club competitions.
Tuesday's match winner Dion was not included in the matchday squad after picking up an injury, as Sibusiso Sibeko and Olivier Touré earned recalls to the starting line-up.
This is also Gallants' second appearance in the competition although they were eliminated at this stage by TP Mazembe last season.
Monde Mphambaniso, Celimpilo Ngema and Lesiba William Nku got the goals for the South African side.
The men from Limpopo managed to hold out for the big win, although they will be a bit upset at conceding a goal.
Malesela's charges will have some good time prepare for the second leg next weekend as there is no midweek league action to prepare for.
