The Siya crew has been led to believe that Mamelodi Sundowns' chances of keeping a player who is currently on loan are decreasing.
The Tshwane giants brought in South American defender Lucas Suarez on a loan deal during the January transfer window. He made a promising start to life with the club and had, in fact, been tipped for an extension at the end of the season, but the situation is believed to have changed over the last few weeks.

Suarez had some tough matches at left centre back and the one which stood out the most was the Nedbank Cup semi-final defeat to Kaizer Chiefs, where he made an error which led to Wandile Duba levelling the game at 1-1 early in the second half.
He has been dropped in recent weeks, with Mosa Lebusa coming in at left centre back for the Tshwane giants.
The Siya crew understands that while a final decision has not been made, Sundowns are unlikely to keep Suarez, which will also allow them to have a foreign spot available when the transfer window opens.

It's understood that the Argentinean is open to making a return to South America, following a difficult few weeks which saw him losing his place in the starting line-up.
Another player who is expected to leave Sundowns at the end of the season is Suarez's compatriot, Matias Esquivel. He has struggled to break into the matchday squad and there's a high chance that the parties will part ways amicably at the end of the campaign.
