Newly signed Richards Bay FC striker Thabiso Kutumela says he was losing his love for the game while wasting away in the Mamelodi Sundowns stands, which led to him parting ways with the Brazilians.

Sundowns announced earlier this week that Kutumela was amongst the players leaving the club.
The Siya crew subsequently reported that the striker would be snapped up by the Natal Rich Boyz, where he was on Wednesday unveiled as one of the club's new signings.
His switch to KZN brought about an end to a three-year stay at Sundowns.
When asked about his departure from the Brazilians, Kutumela cited the desire to regain his desire and passion for the game as the reason he opted for the risk of a loan move prior to making a permanent switch.
"You know why I wanted to move? It was because I was getting to a point where I'm losing this thing, [passion] in my heart for playing football. I was losing interest in it," he told journalists at the club's major sponsorship launch.
"It was going to be hard for me to find a team if I was sitting for two seasons without playing. So, I told myself that I still wanted to play this thing that I started. I still want to finish as highly as I possibly can.
"I took a risk with the loan to Cape Town City so that it could help me in
future.
"I think maybe my ancestors are from KZN. You know playing for a big team and
playing for other teams is not easy. Maybe I am the key signing for Richards
Bay and it's going to be easy because I come from pressure. So I just have to take
it day by day and game by game to adjust to the culture of the team.
