Mamelodi Sundowns will have another challenge, and this is in playing a big MTN8 game without talisman Peter Shalulile so they will need an ace up their sleeve against Kaizer Chiefs, who will be seeking redemption.
Shalulile picked up a hamstring injury in Sundowns' 4-0 win over Golden Arrows and has not featured for the Brazilians since then.

Masandawana head coach Rulani Mokwena confirmed ahead of their MTN8 semi-final first-leg encounter against Chiefs, that the 29-year old will not be available for selection, although he's doing light training.
The Namibian had a more serious injury last season, described as a sports hernia, where he featured in a goalless draw against Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 semi-final first-leg but missed the second-leg, as Pirates dismantled Sundowns 3-0 and went on to win the cup.
However, the Tshwane giants did not lose focus in the league, as Cassius Mailula raised his hand and picked up goal-scoring form that ensured the Brazilians did not miss Shalulile that much.
With no natural striker currently available in the Sundowns squad, the Brazilians will need a number 10 that they can depend upon and offer leadership. That pressure and responsibility to find the goals will fall on captain Themba Zwane.
Zwane's leadership and big match temperament will be important for Masandawana's new signings such as Lucas Ribeiro Costa to flourish, as big games require experience as well.
Mshishi is one of the players looked upon for inspiration at the club, as new signings Bathusi Aubaas and Thapelo Maseko explained how much they revered Zwane while still playing for TS Galaxy and SuperSport United respectively.
Aubaas says he idolised Zwane while growing up and followed his game closely even when he was at the Rockets.
"Mshishi is one player I have dreamt of playing with because of his football intelligence. Growing up, I enjoyed studying his style of play because he has a lot to offer. His mentality of the game is always top-notch," Aubaas said in Sundowns' latest Magazine.
Maseko, meanwhile, also revealed that Zwane is a player he admired the most at Sundowns before signing with the club.
"I have the utmost respect for Mshishi because of his technical abilities in midfield. I am thrilled that we are now on the same side," Maseko said.
