Exiled Wydad Star 'Returns' After Mokwena Exit

An exiled Wydad Casablanca player is reportedly set to return to the squad following the departure of coach Rulani Mokwena.

The Moroccan giants announced on Tuesday that Mokwena has been put on special leave for the final three games and his contract will not be renewed at the end of the season.

Wydad registered six successive draws in the Botola Pro, which has left the side in third place and six points behind AS FAR Rabat with three games left to play.

According to Le Site Info, Seifeddine Bouhra is now expected to return to the first team squad after months of being sidelined.

The Red Castle will be back in league action on Saturday as they take on Rabat in a must-win encounter at the Stade Mohammed V.

The report added that Bouhra was one of the Wydad players who were not happy with their situation under the South African coach.

With Mokwena now on his way out, the attacking midfielder is now hoping for a new opportunity under interim coach Mohamed Amine Benhachem.
