Hlompho Kekana celebrated his 300th appearance for Mamelodi Sundowns in the best way possible, with a goal away from home to give them a big CAF Champions League win in Algeria.

The tireless midfielder will turn 35 in 2020, but continues to prove his worth in Masandawana as Mr. Reliable in the Pitso Mosimane machine.
Kekana's goal as he pounced in a mistake by USM Alger secures their first away win on the CCL group stages since back in July 2017, and made sure they ended the year on top of Group C.

The Brazilians now turn their focus back to domestic matters as they prepare for their first Absa Premiership game of 2020, and they'll be looking to try and close the gap on Kaizer Chiefs in the new year.

Kekana's 300th appearance, while impressive, still puts him some way off Daniel Mudau's club record though, with the Sundowns legend having racked up 390 in their colours during his time there.
