Fresh from winning the inaugural African Football League, former Mamelodi Sundowns captain Hlompho Kekana has backed the Brazilians to win the continental double.

Downs used all their CAF experience gained over the last six years as they overcame turbulent waters to lift the AFL title, which came with a $4m (± R75.7 million) reward.
The one that remains elusive to the Chloorkop-based outfit is the CAF Champions League, which last adorned the Brazilians' trophy cabinet in 2016.
A man who was part of then coach Pitso Mosimane's triumphant side, Kekana feels the current crop of players are well capable of winning the second continental gong this year.
"Well, I think one should say they deserve really to be where they are now and a big congratulations to everyone, especially the players, to always live up to the expectations, it's never easy to play for that team with a lot of pressure, a lot of things that are happening around, you need to win football matches every time, but to see them having the courage to go and win football matches even away [from home], that should be applauded. And I think they should just continue with this good run," Kekana told journalists at the Philly's Games in Tembisa.
"It's possible really to win the double. They're capable of doing that. We've seen in the past. they've managed to win football matches. They even managed to win [the] triple back here at home. So, it's something that has been done before, so I don't think they can't do it again. Of course, it's not going to be easy - but they know that and they're capable of doing that even under difficult conditions. So, it's up to them to continue to give these performances and football matches you win by giving performances," he said.
