Mamelodi Sundowns striker Peter Shalulile has been the top striker in the PSL for the past three seasons, and the Brazilians have been looking to improve their forward line further from 2024 onward.
Sundowns have been linked with Cape Town City's Khanyisa Mayo who is top of their shopping list and now Sekhukhune United's Elias Mokwana has also been added to that list of possibilities.

Former Sundowns midfield general Roger Feutmba believes the technical team does indeed need to bring in another striker to challenge and support Shalulile.
The Cameroonian told Soccer Laduma in an exclusive interview that there should be another top class striker at the club who can do the same job as Shalulile, maintaining his standards when the Namibian is injured.
"I believe so. I believe Mayo will be the right signing for Sundowns. Sundowns really need a striker like him. And you know if the technical team sees the need for a striker then I think Mayo fits very well," Feutmba told Soccer Laduma.
"You see if (Rulani Mokwena) wants to sign him then they have seen that there is a gap in that department. Mayo is a good option. It's good because if Shalulile is out injured then Mayo can step up and give him that challenge and competition. Whether it's Mayo or any other striker, Sundowns need to sign that striker so that there is cover for Shalulile.
"The other advantage is that Mayo is a South African and joining Sundowns will help improve the national team because Bafana Bafana need a top class striker. This will help because Mayo will be playing in the CAF Champions League and it is a top competition where he will gain the experience to help the national team.
"And it will be good for Sundowns because he will do the job like Shalulile or even challenge him and fight for the position. Mayo will be a good signing for Sundowns. It could be Mayo or any other striker, but yes, it will be good for Sundowns. Above all, he is still young and can have a long term career with Sundowns," Feutmba concluded.
