Kaizer Chiefs head coach Molefi Ntseki has revealed the kind of relationship he has with Chairman Dr. Kaizer Motaung.

Ntseki was entrusted with leading Amakhosi at the beginning of the season, in a technical team reshuffle that saw previous head coach Arthur Zwane demoted to being an assistant coach.

The former Bafana Bafana coach has been under pressure to bring the club back to it's glory days and under his reign, the club already has had controversial encounters with the supporters twice this season, who threw missiles on the pitch.

The former junior national team coach has revealed that he is surrounded by the wisdom of Dr. Motaung, who at 79 years of age, still has interest in the technical matters around the team and forms part of his decision-making process.

"I always say it's a privilege to be part of this brand, you have a chairman who played football, you have a chairman who has been in the game for more than 53 years, so I think his wisdom will always come out very important," Ntseki said in a Carling Knockout press conference.

"Every time we are to play a game, I always have a pre-match meeting with him, just to take him through the team, the injuries, the plan that we want to deploy in the game that we're to play and that has been doing very well.

"And I think with his background, with his experience, it has been very good technical conversations and I think technical conversations are very important, because even if you meet somebody in the street and have got something to say about the game, it is a free lesson that will take place," he said.

"Whether it's from the person you meet on the street or from your side, what is important is that football is evolving and it's always important to have those technical conversations."

Ntseki continued and said that other members who have been long at the club also help him in his decision-making processes, as he can't always do things on his own.

"I think the rest of the club members who have been in the game for long, they always have a role to play, they always have something to say that you can always look into, because it's a big team and football is a massive sport. You cannot always do everything on your own, without listening and at times getting the advice from the people that are around," he added.

Chiefs will be back in action when they host AmaZulu at FNB Stadium in a Carling Knockout round of 16 clash on Saturday evening.
