Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager Bobby Motaung has received criticism from supporters in the past and former Amakhosi striker Katlego Mphela has revealed what his personality is like at the village.
As the man who was previously seen to be in charge of transfer affairs at the Glamour Boys, Bobby Motaung received backlash and was heavily criticized by supporters, who claimed he does not bring quality players to the club.

Motaung threw the cat among the pigeons in 2011 after he reacted angrily to his criticism by Chiefs fans.
"It is my home. I'm going nowhere. As for those who dream that Bobby Motaung must step down, that Bobby Motaung must go, it is a dream. Bobby Motaung goes nowhere," Bobby Motaung said at a press conference.
"I'm not elected here. I was not appointed by the ANC or IFP. I will be here as long as this company exists."
Since then, 'Bobsteak' has had a love-hate relationship with Chiefs supporters but Mphela, who joined the Naturena-based side in 2014 from Mamelodi Sundowns, suggested that the eccentric Amakhosi boss was the best he worked under and waxed lyrical about the setup at the village.
"They [Chiefs] give you what you want, one of the best teams I've ever played for in terms of structure, professionalism, quality! I don't have regrets [about joining Chiefs]. Actually, I wish I had gone there two years earlier, maybe if it was up to me. Because the organization, the brand puts you up there, that's something you don't know when you are outside," Mphela said on Smash Sports YouTube Channel.

"When you go to gym [training] its like you are going to the office. Bobby as the manager there, he takes care of his players. Personally, when I met him, I saw him in the media and from far off [before I joined Chiefs]. But when I was there, the guy has dignity. There are things us as soccer players we do, we get into trouble, he'll be the first one to protect you.
"Besides that, he would make sure you're okay, when you get injured, it doesn't happen often that the manager would come to you and say, 'Let's go to this and that place, do this and that to be well'. Straight forward like that. The guys who played under Bobby at Chiefs will tell you, he took care of us, you will want to go to training and perform," the former Bafana striker concluded.
Chiefs have since put Bobby Motaung's younger brother Kaizer Jr in the forefront of the transfer business as the Sporting Director since July 2021.
