Kaizer Chiefs legend Reneilwe Letsholonyane has reacted to the appointment of Molefi Ntseki as the new head coach of Bafana Bafana and explained what was key to Amakhosi winning trophies in the past.
Chiefs made a surprising decision to restructure their technical team and appoint Ntseki, formerly the Head of Technical and Youth Development at the club, as the new head coach and demoted Arthur Zwane to an assistant coaching role, back to working with Dillon Sheppard in that capacity.

Letsholonyane, who is currently the head coach of AmaZulu's Under-17 side, says Chiefs made the decision they believed was right for the club and it's up to Ntseki to prove the "pessimists" wrong by winning trophies.
"It was unexpected for me but the people that appointed him, I think it was the right decision for them, I think they made that decision in the best interest of the club," Letsholonyane said on Radio 2000.
"It's part of the job (with regards to Zwane's demotion), if you're not doing the job according to (expectations) or properly, according to the supporters, obviously the results are not coming forth, it's normal that coaches come in and out," he said.
'Yeye' also reacted to the "pessimism" around Ntseki's appointment.
"It comes with coaching or working for a big team like Chiefs, you have to accept criticism, take it as a big man and prove them wrong by working hard, getting trophies behind you. Supporters will obviously be happy, what they want is trophies," he said.
"We had a mix of old and young players, we called each other to order. We did not allow even small issues that had nothing to do with football affect us," Letsholonyane said.
"We agreed that out of Naturena, you can do whatever you want to do but as soon as you get into the gate, anything that affects me as your teammate, then it's a problem.
"We tried obviously to stay together, we had team-building exercises. We knew we can't all be friends but because we're playing for one team, and we're there for the same cause, we needed a mechanism that works for all of us to stay together," he added.
