Lebogang Manyama has penned an emotional goodbye message to Kaizer Chiefs after being released by the club.
As part of the major squad overhaul taking place at Chiefs, Manyama is one of the seven players whose exits have been confirmed by the club this week, along with that of goalkeeper coach Lee Baxter, with the Soweto giants having prepared in advance by appointing former player Aubrey Mathibe as the goalkeeper coach in April.

Manyama, 31, has been with Chiefs since 2018, having joined after his return from Turkey where he breifly plied his trade with Konyaspor FC.
On his way out of Naturena, the former PSL's Footballer of the Season sent an emotional message to Chiefs boss Kaizer Motaung, as well as the rest of the team.

"As a young boy, you can only dream of putting on the shirt of your childhood club and today I stand as a man that realised his dream. And for that I want to thank the chairman Mr Kaizer Motaung, the football manager Mr Bobby Motaung, all the coaches (past and present) that I played under, the physios, all the team doctors, my teammates (past and present), the Khosi nation and everyone that puts in all the work behind the scenes at the Kaizer Chiefs village and everyone associated with Kaizer Chiefs. Lebogang Manyama will also be out of contract at the end of June and is free to find a new team. The attacking midfielder joined Amakhosi in August 2018 from Turkish side Konyaspor and played 95 matches, scoring on 15 occasions. All the best Lebo.#Amakhosi4Life pic.twitter.com/3b2ATmNGHL
