Kaizer Chiefs have unveiled new signing Edson Castillo and also revealed his squad number for the 2023/2024 season.
The Venezuelan midfielder was one of six new players announced by the Soweto giants earlier this week.

Chiefs officially unveiled their South American acquisition on Friday and confirmed he will be wearing the No.17 jersey this campaign.

"I am very happy for the opportunity and I am also very excited about coming to such a big Club," Castillo told the club's official website.
"I had opportunities to go to other clubs but when I heard about the interest from such a big club I had no doubts about coming here, and seeing this welcome, I am very happy and believe I have made the right decision. I want to win trophies and have a successful time here."
Castillo will become the third Venezuelan player to play for the Soweto giants after Jose Torrealba and Leandro Perez.
