Kaizer Chiefs On The Move...

As part of the plans for Kaizer Chiefs to use three venues for their home fixtures this season, the team's first match to be hosted in Durban has been confirmed.

So far this season, Chiefs have played one match at home in their four to date, which was against Mamelodi Sundowns at FNB Stadium.

Their fifth match this evening is away against Magesi FC at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

As confirmed on both the club and PSL fixture lists, Amakhosi are scheduled to have their match against Chippa United hosted at Durban's Moses Mabhida Stadium on December 29.

Last season, Chiefs played their first match of the campaign against Chippa at the same KwaZulu-Natal iconic World Cup venue in August and it ended in a goalless draw in what was the start of Molefi Ntseki's tenure as the club's head coach.

The Chilli Boys' clash in KZN will follow the one at the Peter Mokaba Stadium for the Glamour Boys against Richards Bay FC on November 27, while the second successive home fixture three days later against Royal AM will be at Soccer City as from time-to-time Chiefs will be switching from one stadium to the other for the course of the campaign.
