Kaizer Chiefs junior coach Tshidiso Letsholonyane has jetted out to Europe to further his coaching qualifications, the Siya crew has been informed.
The younger brother of Chiefs legend, Reneilwe, has been part of the Amakhosi coaching staff since he hung up his boots in 2017.
Letsholonyane started off in the club's u15's before he graduated to the u17 coach in 2020, a position he still holds to this day.
Now, the latest news reaching the Siya crew's desk is that the 30-year-old coach has jetted out to Ireland, where he is set to complete his UEFA-B license through the Irish FA.
The trip comes two years after it was initially planned.
Letsholonyane was scheduled to complete the qualification in May 2020; however, COVID-19 brought an abrupt halt to those plans, though he is set to complete it having jetted out of the country last week.
Letsholonyane, a once promising player had a professional contract with the club; however, injuries curtailed his career, which saw him retire from the game aged just 25.
The Siya crew has been informed that the young Letsholonyane forms part of the long-term plans at the club, where he could take up a technical team position in years to come.
