Improving Kaizer Chiefs will challenge for the league next season, and this is according to former Amakhosi player, Ntokozo Sikhakhane.
Amakhosi have been lauded for improvement under interim coach Cavin Johnson, who has led the team to four wins, a draw and two losses in his seven matches in charge in the league.

The Soweto giants went to the break sitting in 6th place on the standings and 11 points behind leaders and defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
With fears that the club could enter the 10th year without silverware, Sikhakhane is expecting a better 2024/25 campaign for the Glamour Boys to challenge for honours.

"I was talking to someone recently and I mentioned that I've got a strong feeling that Chiefs will disappoint so many critics next season by doing remarkably well. Just watch it, come next season Chiefs will be competing for the league. Come the end of next season, Chiefs will be one of the teams at the top of the log," said Sikhakhane, speaking to the Siya crew.
"The supporters will be happy again because if Chiefs is doing well, the team is always getting the backing of the followers. I have noticed that already the supporters have been rejuvenated and getting back to the stadium in their numbers. Chiefs supporters love their team and that's one thing you can't take away from them. They are very passionate," he said.
