Gallery: Chiefs Secure Silverware & R7 million

Kaizer Chiefs finally got their hands on some silverware for the first time since 2015 after defeating Orlando Pirates in the Nedbank Cup final.

Goals from Gaston Sirino and Yusuf Maart steered the Amakhosi to a 2-1 victory at a sold-out Moses Mabhida Stadium.

It's been ten years without major silverware at Naturena, while their last Nedbank Cup succcess came in 2013.

Chiefs also picked up some big prize money after walking away with R7 million after winning the Nedbank Cup.

Pirates, meanwhile, were denied a third historic Nedbank Cup crown but will leave Durban with R2.5 million.
