During his time in the professional ranks, Nhlanhla Kubheka was a talented footballer who was likened to Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana legend Lucas 'Rhoo' Radebe.
Kubheka was praised for his talent and qualities as an up-and-coming defender.

Having started at Chiefs in the club's youth ranks, Kubheka went on to play for the Amakhosi first team between 1999 and 2006.
Following his spells with Bidvest Wits and Ajax Cape Town. among other clubs, the former centre-back retired in 2011 to shift his focus to training and developing footballers and do life coaching.

In reminiscing about the good old days, Kubheka has selected his dream team comprising of some of the great footballers to have come out of Mzansi, including his idol and former Bafana captain in Radebe and the great Doctor '16V' Khumalo of Chiefs and Bafana fame.
Kubheka's team is made up of mostly the stars who played for Chiefs and Bafana, as well as others who featured at the highest level in different leagues around the world.
