A football legend has spoken about the 'advantage' that Kaizer Chiefs have over Mamelodi Sundowns to possibly help them as the two giants of Mzansi football are in pursuit of the Absa Premiership title this season.
Chiefs and Sundowns will play in the eagerly-awaited top of the table match this evening at Orlando Stadium, and former Bafana Bafana winger Japhet Zwane has explained why he thinks Amakhosi are having an advantage of Downs in the race.
"Sundowns had a slow start after the re-start of the season but have been gaining momentum as seen in their last two games. They look like a team that is determined to make something happen, while Chiefs have been dropping points. It's going to be tough," Zwane told the Siya crew.
"The match this evening is going to determine the winners of the league, although Chiefs are still having an advantage of goal-difference. If Chiefs can get a win tonight, they will win the league the way I see it. But if Sundowns win, the pressure will be huge on Kaizer Chiefs," he said.
