Ernst Middendorp's Kaizer Chiefs are now seven games unbeaten in all competitions, and the German thinks that their most recent win – against Cape Town City – was like a chess game. We prepare for all the teams the same way, we really executed our game plan well. "I, therefore, think that a compliment should go to everyone who was involved with the preparation and execution for this encounter. Everybody did what they were required to do." Meanwhile, the German also spared a thought for the Amakhosi faithful, saying, "They came in big numbers and added to the spectacle. I'm glad we gave them the performance they deserve."
