Kaizer Chiefs defender Edmilson Dove looks back at the funny side of the soaring heat he had experienced at the Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast recently.
Due to the high temperatures at the ongoing Afcon, each match requires two water breaks, as called by the referees and Dove experienced this first hand with Mozambique at the tournament.

Dove had participated in Group B against Egypt, Cape Verde and Ghana, where despite earning hard fought draws, Mozambique had still made an early exit back to Southern Africa.
The Amakhosi defender went on to discuss the heat he experienced at Africa's top competition.
"It's too much, it's too much (laughs). Sometimes, we would make fun of it because you would step out of your gear for training and like in two minutes, you are already sweating without having done anything," Dove told GameOn on Radio 2000.
"It's just hot, hot, doesn't matter what time of the day it actually is. Whether the game is in the afternoon or evening didn't really matter as the heat continued," he continued.
The 29-year-old had experienced a positional switch at the Mambas, playing in the centre of defence for his nation.
"For Mozambique, playing centre-back started now because we had some players injured in the qualifying rounds (for Afcon) and also in the camp we had in Portugal before Afcon because there weren't enough defenders in the squad at the time," Dove said.
The Chiefs player was praised for his performance in the 2-2 draw against Egypt when he came up against Mohamed Salah.
"At the end of the day, I don't think it's a position that's new for me, I can obviously create certain chemistry playing with someone over and over again.
"And you get to really understand each other as a pair of centre-backs. But I don't think it was bad at the national team," Dove said.
Dove will hope to be in action when Amakhosi resume their DStv Premiership campaign, at home against TS Galaxy on February 13.
