Chiefs' Potsane Delighted With Bloem Return

Kaizer Chiefs are set to return to Bloemfontein for a third time in quick succession, much to the delight of midfielder Tebogo Potsane who hails from the City of Roses.

Having already faced Young Africans in the Toyota Cup and Marumo Gallants in their Premiership opener, Chiefs will be returning to Mangaung for a third time.

This time, Amakhosi will take part in the CUFA (Cultural Urban Festival Africa ) Cup on 13 October, where they will once again take on Dan Malesela's Marumo Gallants side at the Toyota Stadium.

The high-profile friendly is in line with Chiefs' international break preparations, where the club will play a number of friendly games, including one against Mamelodi Sundowns.

Ahead of the clash, Tebogo Potsane, who hails from Bloemfontein described his delight at being able to return to his hometown, where he is hoping to get a taste of action, having barely featured under coach Nasreddine Nabi this season.

"As someone from Bloemfontein, I am honoured to be back home to attend the launch of Cufa Cup. We are really looking forward to coming back to Bloemfontein for a third time in 10 weeks," he said via the Chiefs media department.

"We played in front of capacity crowds against Young Africans on 28 July in the Toyota Cup and faced Marumo Gallants in the Betway Premiership on 14 September, and supporters did not disappoint again when they filled up the Toyota stadium once more.

"We know people of Mangaung love football, and we look forward to another sold-out crowd when we return on 13 October," he continued.

Chiefs resume their domestic duties on 26 October when they take on SuperSport United.
