Kaizer Chiefs interim coach Cavin Johnson has commented on reports suggesting that there is racial tension at Naturena between black and coloured players.
A report in the Sunday World alleged that some of the black players at Naturena are not happy that the coloured players are being treated with kid gloves, causing some tension in the side.

It was not visible, however, when Amakhosi took on Moroka Swallows at Dobsonville Stadium on Sunday, as they registered a hard-fought 1-0 victory for Johnson's second victory since taking charge of the side from the departed Molefi Ntseki.
"We read it all the time. Kaizer Chiefs being the brand that they are, I think there are a lot of people who look to take this big brand to a lower level because in reality, there is no brand that is as strong as this brand. So, whatever you can find and whatever you can do to try and discredit them, is always in the papers. It's not only now. It's been (like that) for a good few years," Johnson said after Amakhosi's victory at Dobsonville.
"Myself, being born in a country where it was black and white, I know how to handle those things. When it comes to those things, it's like water on a duck's back for me because if you were born when the rainbow was black and white, and now it's colourful, then you know how to handle those. So, we don't have any problem within our village of that sort of nature. You can see on the pitch that the players want to do it for each other."
There have also been reports of Itumeleng Khune and Mduduzi Mdantsane getting to training under the influence of alcohol, but Johnson suggested that the dressing room is strong.

"You can't really ask me those questions about the dressing room because the dressing room is strong. You can go to the dressing room now and you will see how strong they are. Since I've been here, I've always felt that the dressing room is strong."
On discipline from senior players, Johnson said: "It's very important and I will be the first one to put up my hand if the dressing room is not right."
