Kaizer Chiefs endured a frustrating evening at FNB Stadium after being held to a goalless draw by Horoya in their first-ever CAF Champions League group stage encounter.

Chiefs made only one change from their 1-1 draw against SuperSport United, as Kearyn Baccus got a start ahead of Njabulo Blom in the midfield.
Amakhosi were on the front foot in the early exchanges as Bernard Parker had the first shot at goal in the 17th minute after he was teed up by Samir Nurkovic outside the box but his effort sailed over the bar.
The Chiefs pair combined ocne again just before the half-hour mark as Parker delivered a good cross into the box but Nurkovic was unable to keep his header on target.
Gavin Hunt's charges almost went a goal down just after that, as Mandela Ocansey broke away on the right wing, but his attempted chip sailed wide of the target with Itumeleng Khune well beaten.
The Soweto giants came back from the break with better purpose in their play as Nurkovic found the back of the net three minutes inside the second stanza with a header but the goal was disallowed for offside beore the Serbian was denied by the offside flag once again four minutes later.
Hunt's men kept on piling the pressure, with Leonardo Castro going close to breaking the deadlock in the last quarter of an hour with a strike from outside the box but shot-stopper Moussa Camara was on hand to make the save.
Camara came up big for the visitors in the clutch, pulling off a couple superb saves to deny Blom and Lebogang Manyama's stoppage-time free-kick to earn his side a share of the spoils.
The Guinean side remain at the top of the group with four points while Amakhosi were left in third place with one point, although they have a game in hand.
