Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Abel Shongwe believes Khama Billiat had done "nothing" for the team and that they should just let him go anyway.
Shongwe feels Amakhosi will perform much better without the Zimbabwean star.

As previously reported by the Siya crew, Billiat and Chiefs have not found an agreement in contract talks. Amakhosi then revealed the player had gone "AWOL" after his contract expired.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Soccer Laduma, Shongwe stated that Chiefs Chairman Dr Kaizer Motaung doesn't chase players away.
"To be honest with you, it all depends on the player. Our chairman doesn't chase players away," Shongwe told Soccer Laduma.
"He always wants to keep players at the team. But the players chase themselves due to their behaviour. And talking about Khama Billiat, to be fair and honest with you, he didn't play for Chiefs. He was not the same Billiat like that one at Mamelodi Sundowns.
"So if Billiat wants to leave then let him go. Kaizer Chiefs are not a one-man team. He has done nothing for Chiefs so it's good to just release him."
"I know the team has good players and it will do much better without him. Last season he spent most of his time out injured but the team continued to play.
"So, if there are greener pastures for him then let him go there and maybe he will perform better there. Kaizer Chiefs are a brand.
"It's a big brand. We will not suffer without Billiat. I have no hard feelings with him but I am being honest, he hasn't done anything for Chiefs. So, let him go," the Eswatini born told Soccer Laduma.
