During his short spell with Mamelodi Sundowns, Keagan Dolly became one of the PSL's deadliest attackers with his pace and trickery. On this Throwback Thursday, we remember Dolly's Downs legacy. Check it out!
After shining for Ajax Cape Town as a youngster, it was only a matter of time before the so-called "Big Three" came calling.
When the news broke that Dolly chose Downs over Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, fans began predicting a career suicide of some sorts as they felt he would struggle to break into the Chloorkop starting XI with a number of proven stars ahead of him.
That was not the case for the pint-sized attacker, though, as he effortlessly became a starter for coach Pitso Mosimane and became a crowd favourite in the process.
Along with Leonardo Castro and Khama Billiat, the famous "CBD" trio ran riot in the Absa Premiership and stamped their authority continentally by claiming a CAF Champions League trophy as well.
