The story
Stellenbosch opened their Carling Knockout Cup title defence with a win over AmaZulu on Friday night.
The Cape Winelands club have plenty of positive memories in Durban after claiming a dramatic 1-1 (5-4 penalty) shootout victory over TS Galaxy in the inaugural edition of the revamped tournament last year at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Steve Barker's side scored seven goals in their wins over Chippa United, Polokwane City and Richards Bay to their way to the final against the Rockets.
In gearing up for Friday night's encounter against Usuthu, the club's social media pages got their supporters excited by posting goals from last season's triumphant run to secure their first cup crown.
