The story
The South African Football Association is enjoying a healthy run on the commercial side of things, attracting major local brands such as SAA, Freddy Hirsch and Southern Sun this year.
The less spoken about brand deal for SAFA is their collaboration with Smartcall Technology Solutions in launching the fan engagement app and website, PEFMO.
As highlighted in a video by Cash N Sport's Nqobile Ndlovu — Smartcall Technology Solutions have a three-year deal in place with SA football's governing body as their official fan engagement partner.
With the PEFMO website and app, Smartcall allows supporters to get a look at stats, squads, player profiles and the latest news on Bafana Bafana, Banyana Banyana and the junior boys teams, for now as the site is still a work in progress.

PEFMO stands for and is the reverse of the words 'Official Mobile Fan Engagement Partner' and will offer the ideal hub for everything involving SA's national teams, with fan giveaways, activations, a fantasy football feature and events for supporters to look forward too.
The PEFMO site already has four short player profiles of Nyiko Mobbie, Luke le Roux, Elias Mokwana and Fawaaz Basadien for fans to read through, as well as moments from the recent AFCON qualifiers against Congo Brazzaville.
