The story

Orlando Pirates star Monnapule Saleng has been the talk of the Twitter/X timeline after photos of him feeding cattle surfaced online.

Saleng, who hasn't featured in Pirates' last 15 matches in all competitions, is seen wearing a green and light brown workwear two-piece, paired with safety shoes, as he tends to the cows.

The photos have sparked a flood reactions from fans, with many speculating that Saleng may have ventured into farming, while others use the image to troll players by insinuating that they're cows.

However, it's unclear when the photos were taken, and Saleng has yet to confirm whether he is pursuing farming as a side hustle.

His last league appearance for Pirates was in early November, when he played the final 15 minutes of their match against Richards Bay. He was last fielded in the 0-0 draw against Al Ahly in December during the CAF Champions League.

Pirates have stated that his absence from recent matches is due to "personal issues," but no official return date has been set.

With uncertainty surrounding his future at Orlando Pirates, could still prove to be an asset for Jose Riveiro's side as the winger managed five goals in his 12 appearances for Bucs this season so far.
