Sadio Mane has played a further hand in the development of Senegal's future sport stars by building a new stadium in his hometown, Bambali.
The former Liverpool star has a history of giving back to his community, establishing a long lasting legacy beyond his exploits on the football pitch.

Sadio Mane gives back to Bambali
Sadio Mane is currently preparing to lead his country at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in the Ivory Coast, hoping to retain the title they won in 2022 against Egypt in Cameroon.
The Al-Nassr forward returned home recently to help formally open a new Stadium, ahead of the Lions of Teranga's AFCON training camp.
Around a year ago, Mane was seen playing football on a muddy pitch in Bambali, reportedly making a pledge to improve the football facilities in the community, he's now fulfilled that promise.

As mentioned, this isn't Mane's first rodeo when it comes to uplifting the town that raised him. In 2022, he received the first ever Ballon d'Or Socrates Award for his inspiring efforts to give back to his nation, particularly his home town.

Mane's charity extends beyond giving back on the football pitch, he once helped his home village build a hospital by reportedly donating around R11.8 million!
At the start of the COVID-19 lockdown, which saw many developing nations reeling, the baller donated almost R1 million to help Senegal's national committee to fight the pandemic.
The 31-year-old made a R5.9 million donation to fund a school in Bambali back in 2019, the same year he helped Liverpool win the UEFA Champions League.
His investment in education didn't end there, he's also donated laptops to the best performing students at Bambali High School.
Mane gave laptops and $400 each to the best performing students of Bambali High School.
